About Us

The Kingsmill Community Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization created and governed by Kingsmill residents who are dedicated to preserving and enhancing the unique heritage, natural beauty, and quality of life in our community. While entirely separate and independent from the Kingsmill Community Services Association (KCSA), the Kingsmill Police Department (KMPD), and the resort owner, currently Escalante Golf, our Foundation exists as the nonprofit platform to support and strengthen these key partners through legacy gifts, fundraising, philanthropy, and charitable programs.

We firmly believe that without close collaboration and a shared commitment among these partners and our residents, the Foundation cannot effectively have a voice or advance its mission. Our strength lies in working hand-in-hand with KCSA, KMPD, and the resort owner to safeguard Kingsmill’s traditions, promote community safety, support sustainability, and foster ongoing enrichment that benefits all residents.

Founded on the vision and careful planning by the Anheuser-Busch family, Kingsmill is a uniquely crafted community that reflects a deep respect for history, nature, and exceptional design. This thoughtful stewardship has created an extraordinary neighborhood along the James River, blending natural landscapes, historic legacy, and resort-style living in harmony.
